Doors!!

Yes. The title of this post IS doors. No. It's NOT a joke. I have recently become fascinated with doors.....metaphorically. The role doors play in life is so bigger than in or out. It's so interesting when you think all that a door represents. Do I sound crazy? Allow me to explain myself.


If you are in a relationship with someone and you recently had your heart broken, your "door" is closed. But this new person you're in a relationship with needs to know that. He needs to read all the signs and know your door is dead bolted and you're on your guard. And he needs to open your "door". Make you feel open again.


Or maybe you recently lost a family member. You have to grieve about it. Sometimes it takes a loooooooooong time. And while you're grieving your "door" is closed. Because you're upset about whats happening and you need your family to be kind with you and calm you down and open your "door". 


I have a lot of metaphors for life. I also have this huge fascination with hands. Yeah, hands. But don't worry. That's a whole other post.
