It's All Too Much

Life is...hard. Life is simple....sometimes. Life can take you anywhere. Whether you want to go there or not, is up to you. If you take the little things for granted, how do you take the big things?? I love video and photography. I get it from my dad. My dad and I are both very artistic people. (I'm not saying we're the only artistic ones in the family, mom!) We have an...eye for detail. Or how I say it, we see the parts greater than the sum of the whole. However you put it. growing up, my dad always video taped us. And, when he was gone, my mom did it for him! I recently watched a short home video. Then, I went to a family gathering, and took pictures and video taped. And, then...as slow as a turtle. As quiet as a mouse. As fast as a cheetah. It hit me, without warning. Life....it's all......too much! We all take it for granted. I can only imagine how my parents feel. My older brother is the oldest, a freshman. Close to college. Pretty soon, they have to walk home wondering....if they did it right. If they raised him to make the right choices. They have to save all the memories with him in a Special Folder, and  move on. They have...to let go.

Letting go. I.....I hate....letting go, of something I care about. Not in a hoarding way. In a way that, I'm not always Change's best friend. If Change came over for dinner...he'd be sure to go home knowing to never change anything unless I say yes. But sadly.....that's not life. That's NOT the way things go. You have to learn to live, and let go. Ugh....letting go....I cringe when I think that.

Thinking. It's a gift of God. A G.O.G. We can all think for ourselves, make decisions, right, and wrong. Sadly, the wrong ones are sometimes more remembered than the right ones. I don't know why. I wish I could change things.....I wish I could make a difference. And....I can! I should!! I will!! Wait!!! Did you catch that? Naw...I bet you didn't. I typed....change. Here we go again....

Well....I hope yoou got the jist of what I'm trying to say here. And no....the jist is NOT the title of this post! Just.........think...........Think....another G.O.G!!

Making US better for YOU

Hey bloggers! Nice to see you again. I always say life is like a ripple in the water. Blurry, un-certain and un-clear at first. But always shows you the final product. Even if you don't like what you see.  If you haven't noticed, this blog is changing. It looks different. I'm doing this so that it's easier for you to read the blog. You will be able to see what you want, and avoid what you don't. This post is just a little warning. I'm just telling you. It's there for a reason

Recently....I disobeyed. Yes.....I sinned. But the worst part is.....I KNEW it was wrong...and I still did it. When you're mad, upset, etc. you will tend to act out. This way, instead of crying, or showing your emotions...you hurt someone else. While you think that person you're hurting is someone else, like, a sibiling, or a parent...you're wrong. It's you. God gives us a consince for a reason. He wants to guide us in the right direction. He wants us to be the people He knows we're capable of being. Nobody is born, a bad person. We become...disobeying people. But nobody...is born that way. I'm not perfect. Never said I was...never will. But God doesn't want us to be perfect. He just knows we can do better than what we're doing currently. If, what you're currently doing isn't what you know you should be doing.
So, next time I'm about to do something bad...I won't ignore my consince....because that's like ignoring God. He's there for a reason.
